This programme is designed to equip aspiring Medical Technicians with the essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills required to support diagnostic processes in the field of Clinical Pathology. Trainees will learn to perform and interpret routine laboratory procedures across a wide range of patient specimens, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with national health standards.

• Hematology – Full blood counts, ESR, and differential analysis
  Clinical Chemistry – Biochemistry panels (Liver, Renal, Lipid, Glucose, etc.)
• Urinalysis & Body Fluids – Physical, chemical, and microscopic evaluation
• Specimen Processing – Pre-analytical assessment, labeling, and handling
• Quality Control & Assurance – ISO15189-aligned lab protocols and troubleshooting
• Safety & Infection Control – Adherence to biosafety, PPE, and waste management

• Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) – Digital entry, tracking, and result validation
• Professional Practice & Ethics – Workplace communication, patient confidentiality, and teamwork
  Board Exam Preparation – Structured revision and mock assessments for HPCSA registration
